House Mouse and Friends Challenge 64

This challenge is to do anything but a card (ABC)...well that's easy enough :) I learned that you can clean Copic marker off your hands with antibacterial hand gel. I am probably the last person to hear of this! I wanted to jazz up my container I keep on my desk. I removed both front and back labels and the sticky residue. I made my images and stuck them down. To seal it I used clear packing tape. Not very technical and I wouldn't use an image I'd spent a ton of time on, but it was fun and how cute! Hope you have fun coming up with your own ABC project this week and we can't wait to see them! Don't forget to check out all the designer's samples for this too!
Materials:
Stamp-A Carrot Between Friends, House Mouse
Markers- Copic C1, C3, C5, W1, W3, E30, RV11, YG04, YR07, YR09, YG91, YG93
Misc.-trims, Prima flowers, orange and green ribbons, sticky tape, wide clear packing tape, bottle of Purell or the like

  3. This is such a clever idea! I also love how you used clear packing tape over the image. This is perfect to protect the image from moisture. Great idea for the challenge! Best, Curt

  4. What a great idea Lisa, you're not the last to know, I didn't but don't have a big problem with my Copics. I wonder if it works with distress inks as well - get rid of my permanently inky fingers. Love the colours and that beautifully coloured adorable image. Love the use of clear packing tape.

  5. Love your fabulous coloring and what a brilliant and adorable Idea! YOU ARE BRAVE to tape over your image. I couldnt do taht because it takes all of about 97 years to color just one single image and it would terrify if it got messed up! LOL!! Great to know about the Copic Marker Removal. Beautiful work GF!! :)

  6. What a great idea!

I guess I knew about hand sanitizer taking permanent marker off of other things, but it never hit me that it would take it off my hands. Thanks for the tip!

I also love the idea of the packing tape. It's perfect for just such a use!
