Fab Fashion

This card was so fun to make. The swap title was "fashion" so I grabbed my fav dress stamp (Haute Couture SU) and my red pencil! I added a little sparkly gem at the neck and tadaaaa....sexy dress card was complete! I used the flower stamp (Magenta) and colored directly on it with my SU markers, huffed and stamped it. The message on the card front and inside ("Celebrate with Style") are from My Favorite Things. Hope you like it!

Diaper Cake Card

Sorry I've been neglecting my blog. I was swamped making a power point presentation and 80 copies of it for my daughter's 6th grade class. It was a bit time consuming hehe.
This is a card I made for a swap that had to be embellished. I used a cool felt "ribbon" and then added the little pins and button brads. The stamp is from StampinBella (love her stuff!). The image is stamped with black StazOn and colored in using OMS and Prismacolor pencils. I used pastel colors so my swap partner could use the card for either a boy or girl! Hope you like it!

Mother's Day Wishes

Happy Mother's Day! I made this pink creation for my special Mom. I don't know what I'd do without her love and support. I got these two flower stamps on my trip to FL last week. I took a little road trip from Orlando while the hubby was conventioning, to New Smyrna Beach and found the neatest little stamp store. I would be thrilled to tell you who makes them, but it's handwritten on the stamps and I can't read it. The line is all sorts of flowers (tulips, daisies, etc.) and just pretty as all get out. The base of the card is the triangular stamp then the single flower is cut out and mounted on top with dimensionals. I colored them with various pink colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits. I made the little pop out message just for fun...something new I'd never tried. Thanks for looking!

Lovely Lilies

I made this card for my mother in law who had surgery this week. The flowers were hers as well. I used the Penny Black lily stamp and my SU markers. I added some Bella baubles in green on the left. I wanted the stamens (at least I think that's what they're called) to stand out a bit, so I used a strong black on them with a tiny paintbrush. I sponged around all the paper edges with Holtz distress ink in brushed corduroy. Hope you like it.
