Guest Design Project for Stamp Something

I have always adored Stamp Something Challenge and someday hope to work as a regular designer for them! Until then I am thrilled to have been able to create a project as a guest designer. My card is a commissioned piece for my Mom as a special 1st Birthday Card for my Great Niece Maryn. This image is from Karen's Doodles. If you haven't been there, GO! I found so many cute images!
The challenge this week was a recipe...1 ribbon, 1 button, 1 Designer paper. I totally goofed up the paper part...my brain is not working lol. Oh well. The ribbon and button are both on the inside. I hope you'll have a chance to play along this week! I'll be stuck at jury duty so think of me as you're having all that stamping fun!

Just Peachy!

This is a sweet Tilda I am sorry I didn't photograph better! I mailed it off before I realized the large picture was blurry! So please be sure to click the bottom one for a good view!! I colored her with Copics and sponged the edges of the image panel with Cameo Coral (SU). The pretty flower is by Prima. The sentiment stamp is from SU. I used some Crystal Effects and a gem to make her little black shoes just right. I really like this little lady!

Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge #54

This is my card for the OCC Sketch Challenge this week. I know Valentine's day is over, but who says you can't give a mushy card any day of the year? My little tag hanging off the bow says "a latte", but was camera shy! My images are from Stamps and Smiles. I colored my images with Copics and the large hearts were just cut out from scraps. Just a fun little card to surprise someone special! Be sure to stop OCC and check out the sketch and wonderful DT samples. We can't wait to see your creations!

Mo's Digital Challenge #20

Certified, not certifiable!

Had the wonderful opportunity to get certified this past weekend in Kansas City! Drove on the worst roads ever to get there but had a great time and learned sooo much! Was fun to meet Peggy and Stephanie in person!

Tilda in Teal

This is a card I made from a kit I received in a swap last month. I'm not sure who's it was...I *think* it was Barbara Gates but I'm not positive (please forgive me and if you know who it was for sure let me know and I will add that). I colored Tilda and the entire oval with Copics. I added some distress Walnut ink to the edges. My lace is also colored with a Copic, E41. I added a few highlights with Opaque white. Very fun kit! I did add 3 gems, but the rest is entirely from her kit! Have a great day!

GOOD LUCK!

Thinking Green!

I'm so tired of snow! I decided to think green and this is what I came up with ! This cute little Tilda is a Magnolia stamp. I colored her with Copics and added some Stickles here and there for some sparkle! The little black shoes are shiny from Crystal Effects. The flowers ar all Prima. The cut out she's resting on is a Spellbinder. Hope she brightens your day too!

Stamps and Smiles Project Tuesday-Gift Card Holder

Who doesn't love having a quick, easy gift card holder pattern handy? This one fits the bill! Here's a link to the directions. The sentiment and image are both from Whimsy Stamps. I covered the fish bowl with Crystal Effects to give the glass shine. I hope you will check out the wonderful variety of samples the designers came up with for this and join in too! You can see the projects on the PT Blog.

Mermaid Birthday Wishes

Who doesn't love a cute mermaid? This one was so fun to work with! She is from the new release Mythical Collection at Whimsy Stamps. They are now carrying some gorgeous flowers and charms too! I used Copics to color her and added some Stickles and Crystal Effects to bling her up! The embossed panel is Cuttlebug and the awesome sentiment is from Paperworks Co. Aqua Amigos Collection. The flowers are all Prima. I colored some white ones with teal Copics so they'd match. I added some Stickles to them as well. Thanks for letting me share it with you!

This is my card for the OCC Sketch Challenge this week. I love this image and had fun making more birds for the little girl to feed! That's why I'm so crazy about digi stamps...I love the flexibility! I decided to go with robins for my birds this time. I think it's fun to have the sketch work with the image and this one accomplished that easily. My image is from Stamps and Smiles. Be sure to stop OCC and check out the sketch and wonderful DT samples. We can't wait to see your creations!

Mo's Digital Challenge #19

Click HERE for Mo's Digital Pencil Hop

This week Dawn challenged us to use only white or vanilla card stock, one ribbon and no layering! WOW that's tough hehe. I chose to use two images (Alice and the Cheshire Cat) for this to create an Alice in Wonderland scene. I merged them using Photoshop. The images are colored with Copic markers. I added a blue ribbon to match her dress and a clock charm to fit the theme! I found the charm at Michael's it's by Blue Moon. This was really fun! Be sure to check out the Challenge Blog as the projects the design team came up with are incredible! Have fun with this challenge!

Tapping Tilda Hanging Calendar

Click HERE for Mo's Digital Pencil Hop

This is a hanging calendar inspired by Stephanie Hester! The kit is one I received in this past kit swap from Barbara Gates. I love the bright colors! I added the sparkly stickers to spell out "dance". My daughter is going to use this in her locker. All these colors are her favorite! I added straps and silver bottoms to Tilda's shoes so they look more like actual tap shoes. They are topped with Crystal Effects to give them more shine. Super job on this kit Barbara!!!! Thanks so much!
