Meljen's Digi Release This Week




Who can resist chocolate? I figured a candy card would be equally tempting! I am particularly fond of the brads on the top right! I used large flat brads and heat embossed them with brown and ultra thick clear embossing powders. I did a couple coats on each. I love how they really look like chocolate! Stamp Something Challenge-Somethings with Wings




This little drawer box was so fun! I've linked up the tutorial below. The card opens on the top like a regular card, but an easel card would be cute too! This beauty is another from my favorite Ching Chou Kuik for Sweet Pea Stamps. Her wings are drawn so beautifully! I made the image stick out a big by 3 coats of ultra thick embossing powder in clear. I love the dimension it gives the image.

I am sending this card to Private Jamie Jarboe. He is a local soldier who was shot by a sniper in Afghanistan. He was removed from the ventilator today and is awaiting spine surgery hopefully next week. If you'd like to send a card his address is below.
