Maggie

I know this is in know way related to my art, but since it's close to my heart I'm sharing.  This photo is of my sweet dog Maggie.  She left us yesterday to go and be pain free and happy again.  She's not been in good health for some time.  My hopes are that she's in heaven with my dad, who was always her favorite person to rub her belly.  She will be terribly missed by my family and our other dog Missie.

  2. Hi Lisa - I'm so sorry you lost your sweet Maggie. She was beautiful! I wish I could say it gets easier to live without our best friends - but it doesn't. I lost the dog we had as a child several years ago and it feels like yesterday everytime I think about her. I just hope that you can remember her wonderful life and be comforted by knowing she's with your Dad and no longer in pain. Hugs to you!

  6. Maybe Maggie will meet my little Pamela that passed on yesterday.

It helps knowing they are not sick and in pain anymore.

Thanks for sharing the sweet picture of Maggie.
May they both rest in peace.

  10. Lisa, I am oh so sorry to hear about Maggie. I totally understand what you're going thru. We had e dogs, all around the same ages and they all passed away within a 4 month period. We are still learning to deal with it. Even tho Maggie is in Heaven with your Dad, just remember that you have her in your heart with all the wonderful memories of her.
    Take care,
