Exciting Announcement!

I am honored to have been selected to design for Crissy Armstrong's new Challenge blog, Sundays with Crissy! I have enjoyed her images for a long time and look forward to sharing more of her work with you! Now for my first challenge as one of Crissy's Crew.
This week's challenge is "My Favorite Things". This is up to everyone's own interpretation...I went with my favorite colors! I love working with pink and green! This is one of the new digital images released last week at Whimsy Stamps. Hope to see your own takes on the challenge this week!

For my "berry" sweet Mom!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! I have a very special project to share with you today! It's my own Mom's gift! Hopefully she won't check my blog till after lunch tomorrow!
These first two photos are a little basket I made for her. I actually made two, one red and one white then put them back to back. Here's the template I used. I filled it with several paper strawberries. They are airbrushed (hubby and kids got me a Copic airbrush kit for Mother's Day!!!). They can hold little candies too! Here's the link to those. Her actual gift is the little scroll tied with the red ribbon. I didn't want to use a plain old gift card holder :)



This is the card I'm using to go with her gift. I made it so it opens a little differently than normal. It's fun to change things up!

Whimsy Stamps May Digi Release Blog Hop

"Roses for Mom"

This little beauty of a card is just right for a special mom! I am so lucky to have several special moms in my life. I used the new Gracie image drawn by Crissy Armstrong and one of Ann Vento's neat sentiments for the front. I printed up my own sentiment for the inside. Needless to say Ann's are way cuter, but mine got the job done hehe.
