I have seen so many varieties of them for many holidays, but Valentine’s Day has to be my favorite. I just added some heart paper, red trim, and ribbon using sticky tape. I find this adheres best when working with metal. I used Charlotte from Paperworks Co. on the front. Her heart is colored with a metallic Sakura pen in red then topped with a bit of Paper Glaze to give it some shine. I wanted it to stand out from Charlotte’s dress. Her headband and shoes are both black Sakura glaze pen. Jacob, also from Paperworks Co. is resting on top of a panel embossed by the Cuttlebug hearts folder. I topped the flag with a white heart brad and some sparkly Valentine paper. I love the flexiblity of this project…any Valentine designer paper scraps will work! Thanks for letting me share it with you!

This is the sweetest little couple. I wanted to make this a little more personalized so I added names to the tree. I used a leaf designer paper for the tree (paper pieced...gotta love how quick that is!). What a fun, quick little card for your sweetie!
~Lisa

I finally found some time to make a card for fun! These are some of the Magnolia stamps from the winter kit. I used this cool shiny dark purple paper for the piano...I embossed the image in black. I colored the keys with Sakura glaze pens. As you can tell it didn't like to stick to the shiny paper. The little candelabra is stamped right onto the designer paper. I added Paper Glaze to make the candles pop out more. Little Noble Tilda is mounted with some dimensional so she sits up higher off the piano. Her shoes are so fun! I used red metallic Sakura pen then topped it with Paper Glaze. The sentiment is from the Stampin Up set "A Happy Heart". The awesome red tulle ribbon is from Paperworks Co. and comes in tons of wonderful colors! I'm hooked on this stuff! Hope you enjoy this as much as I did creating it!
Well I refrained from using pink last week...couldn't let that continue! I hadn't used a Cuppy stamp for a while either, and I loveeeeeeeeee them! This one is from the Cuppy's Winter Wonderland. The heart is from Cuppy Love, the sentiment from You Warm My Heart. The pretty paper is from Stampin Up. Please be sure to check out TFB blog and see everyone's wonderful samples! We'd love for you to play along with us too!

I have been coloring since I was a little girl. I was always happy with a box of crayons and a few color books! As I’ve grown up this hasn’t changed…well other than now my crayons are Copic markers and my color books are card stock.
This blog is where I enjoy sharing my passion for coloring and creating special pieces of art with my work.
I hope you enjoy your visit and find something inspiring.
