Project Tuesday Box

This little box is just the cutest little gift! It is so versatile! I plan to fill it with red/white/blue candy for a friend. It would also hold a stack of A2 cards! The tutorial for this box is here. The image I used is House Mouse and I colored it with watercolor pencils. I added some sparkle with Stickles. I also added the patriotic ribbon. The sentiment are a combination of Stampin Up (the "happy" and I can't figure out who made the "4th of July". It's old and I threw away the original labeling. Hope you are enjoying the Project Tuesday projects! I know I am! Have a great week!

Pretty Emma

I am so happy with how this precious little girl turned out.  She is Emma and I found her at Fred She Said Designs.  Here's a link to her.  She is colored with Copic markers.  Her white background paper is made from an embossing plate from Spellbinders Impressabilities, Flowers.  The nifty little flowers are so cool!  They are also from Fred She Said Designs and come already colored.  All I did was print them out, cut em out and put a few pairs together!  They have several designs, several colors and you can resize them to your liking on your own computer after you download it!  If you prefer to color your own, just find the black and white image and you can make the same flowers whatever color you choose!  I am having so much fun with these!  Hope you like her!

Double bubble trouble

This card was sooo much fun to make!  I used the image of the (one) little boy blowing bubbles from KLM Designs.  I used Microsoft Publisher to do my editing and copied the image so I had two.  I also flipped one so they were facing each other.  I copied cut and pasted the bubbles until they were all random and different sizes.  I am thrilled with how it turned out!  The little definition sentiment is also from KLM.  The paper is from Debbie Mumm at JoAnn's (I think).  I added a little orange ribbon behind the definition.  The images are colored with copic markers.  I painted the bubbles with twinkling h2o's in icicle.  After they dried I added crystal effects to make them more dimensional.  Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Fishbowl Friends

This is such a fun project to do! There is a complete tutorial over at Splitcoast that will take you through step by step (link is here). I used the Fish and Worm stamps from Dog Gone Stamps (link is here). The sentiment is by Stampin Up. I grabbed the bright paper from my stash, so again no clue where it's from sorry. I used the oval punch and scalloped oval punch for the little sentiment. This is one card that would really be difficult to mail. It would be ok in a box, but an envelope would probably end up with a very messy delivery! Hope you like it!

Gotta Share!

I am excited to share with you all that I am now designing for The Rubber Cafe! I begin in July so be watching for new stuff!

Quick and Easy 1 sheet box!

This little box is my submission for this week's Project Tuesday. I love creating something that's easy but looks more complicated hehe. This project definately fit the bill! The tutorial is here for specific instructions. I used my Scor-pal at 1/2 inch increments to make the grid on the front of the box. The image is a Magnolia from this past Easter Collection. I colored her with Copic Markers and added white flocking on the sweet little lamb. This would be a great gift card holder for a baby shower! Hope you have a great Tuesday!

Cool Graphic Flower

I have always loved having a black and white graphic image and just grabbing my colors to see where they take me.  These designs are just perfect for that!  They are by Fred She Said Designs and you can see this particular set here.  It's a digital page and such fun to print out and create with!  I used my copic markers and a little crystal effects to add definition to the black lines.  I also added some sticky gold gems to give it some bling!  I hope you like it!

Golf Anyone?

This sweet little guy is ready to tee it up!  He's from KLM Designs and I just adore his sweet little face!  I used copic markers to color him.  The little "golf balls" are called metal dots and they are from JoAnn's.  They're flatter than Dew Drops and come in a few colors.  They are self adhesive too.  I cut the one he's holding in half to fit the image.  Hope you like it!

Pretty buds

Sometimes it's nice to create something simple and pretty!  This card certainly meets that requirement.  I like the little flower (obviously hehe) it's the same one I used for the domino pin.  The paper is from my stash and I haven't a clue who made it.  I added 3 little Dew Drops in the corner since you know sparkle is a must for me!  The stamp is by Dog Gone Stamps and you can see it here.  It's actually a set of flowers.  Have a great day!

Project Tuesday Tea Bag Holder

This was a fun little idea at Project Tuesday.  A link to the tutorial is here.  I used the Forest Friends set by Stampin Up for my images.  The front ink is Old Olive.  The designer paper is Walk in the Park, Stampin Up (Occasions Mini Catalog).  My background card stock is Regal Rose.  The inside sentiments are from Echoes of Kindness and Thoughts and Prayers, both Stampin Up.  Hope you like it!  Have a great Tuesday!

A lil saucy!

I had to chuckle when I showed this card to my Mom...she thought it was a little saucy hehe.  I love it!  These stamps are so cool!  All I did was add a little flesh colored marker to her skin and chalk to her cheek.  I would have loved to add a tiny strand of pearls to where she's holding them, but I knew I'd never find one that was small enough to fit.  The stamp is from I Break for Stamps and you can see it here.  The sheet of these ladies is stunning!  The paper is from the wedding collection (go figure hehe) by K and Company-it's amazing I actually know where my paper's from isn't it??? LOL   Have a great day!

Fishy Birthday

This birthday image is a digital image from Fred She Said.  They have really cool stuff you have to check out!  I printed them out, colored them with my copic markers and mounted it altogether.  I was recently chosen to be on their Design Team and I'm so happy to have all their cute stuff to create with!    I hope you enjoy my card!

Skate on!

This busy boy is from KLM Designs.  I think it's so hard to find cute, cool images for the fellas!  This one is colored with copic markers.  The paper is Debbie Mumm (I *think) from JoAnn's.  The corner punch is Paper Shapers.  I added a few Dew Drops on each corner piece.  I did not add a sentiment to the face of this card since I thought it was pretty busy as is....there's plenty of  room inside!

Pucker up!

This stamp is such fun to work with !  I cut off his crown so he looks more realistic.  He is painted with twinkling h2o's by Luminarte.  I added some Stickles for his warts and a little crystal effects here and there on the lines.  The background is alcohol inks on glossy paper.  The middle section is filled with Dew Drops in sunflower.  I used scor-tape under them in 3 rows.  The Kiss Me sentiment I stamped first in Staz On, but it wasn't dark enough so I went over it with a Pigma pen.  I still wasn't happy with them, so I topped them with crystal effects.  It gave them the dimension I was after.  I just love this card!  The frog stamp is by Dog Gone Stamps and you can find it here.   I hope you enjoy him!

Project Tuesday Origami Box

I admit it, I didn't stamp one thing for this, but I got to working on it and was on a roll!  This could really be neat paired with a matching card as a wedding gift!  Anyway!  This is Project Tuesday for today!  The tutorial for the origami box can be found here.  The ribbon flowers are really simple, and finished it off just perfect I think.  I found the video tutorial here.  I love seeing how things are folded rather than just reading them sometimes!  All of my paper is by Stampin Up.  The ribbon on the boxes is from Michaels, sheer creations.  The top roses are not really a fabric ribbon, but a paper one.  I found it at Michael's too.  It's by Paper Reflections.  For the large center rose I used the full width, for the two small ones I cut it in half.  The leaves are also from Michael's and they're by Prima.  Some are textured, some are just paper.  I also added in a few strings of tiny pearls for some shimmer.  I had a blast creating this!  Hope you enjoy today's project!

Elegant Geisha

I know I always say how much fun I had creating "this card" and "that card", but THIS one was even more fun!  The challenge was to color her well.  Black hair is hard to color, well it is for me at least.  I was happy with how her hair turned out.  The image is from I Break for Stamps and you can see it here.  I love the origami paper with any Asian image.  This particular paper is from Michael's.  It's a little more expensive, but adds a great deal to the art I think.  The little coin was in my stash, I think it was from a pair of shoes or something.  I knew it would come in handy somewhere!  Enjoy!

You've Got Mail!

This pretty mailbox is from today's new release at KLM Designs! Be sure to stop by and see what's new! I really like this image since it's so versatile. I colored it with my copic markers, used my nesties to cut it and the scalloped oval. The pretty paper I just got at Michaels and the flowers are simply cut out from a scrap of the same page. It's the English Garden collection by Making Memories. I am thrilled to be on the DT at KLM and hope you run by to see their awesome stuff soon!

Cupcake Box

This is one of the projects I made for the Stampin Out Alzheimer's event last week. It was a free template from The Digichick (link here but it's not a freebie anymore sorry). I was really pleased with how it turned out. It was pretty easy too once I got my silly printer to work on the sparkly paper! I even won $10 in digital downloads with my entry~it was a random one but still! Just wanted to share it with you all!

Seeing Double!

These seahorses are from the Mermaid set at Fred She Said Designs.  You can see the entire set here.  These are digital stamps and lots of fun to play with!  I colored my seahorses with twinkling h2o's by Luminarte.  I gave them some sparkle with Stickles.  The cute sea theme paper is by Doodlebug Designs.  Enjoy!

It's all about dessert!

Isn't she a cutie! She's "Karah's Cupcake" from KLM Designs upcoming release! She and 3 sentiments all come together! They are digistamps so you can print them out any size and as many times as you want! I always thought paper piecing would be out of the question with digistamps, but I proved myself wrong. I just cut the image away from the background and inserted two different papers for the table and wallpaper behind her. The cupcake is topped with crystal effects to make that chocolate look shiny. The cherry is a little Dew Drop. I colored the image with Copics. Her cheeks are a soft blush from a little chalk! Be sure to hit KLM Designs on the 8th to see all the cute new images!

Can you say Bee U T ???

Is she not a hottie? I am just astounded by these stamps! They look just like photos! All I did to this one was add some color to her lips, skin, and clothes. The sentiment and stamp are by I Brake for Stamps and can be seen here. The other ladies on the sheet are just as stunning!
Thanks for looking!
