Thoughts of Harvest
Being a Kansas girl, I have lots of harvest memories. I used to spend my entire summer on close family's farm helping with whatever I could. I have wonderful memories of these times. So when OOC had an inspiration challenge from Harvest paintings by Lowell Herrero it was easy for me to come up with something. The sunsets in Kansas are so beautiful...they make for beautiful cards. I sponged this one with Cranberry Crisp, Crushed Curry, and Dusty Durango. The sun is from a sticky note punched circle, then sponged with Crushed Curry. The foliage stamps are from the Stem Silhouettes set (SU) and the sentiment "Best Wishes and More" (SU). The little birds are from Third Coast Ave. Rubber Stamps.
The bottom card image is by Art Impressions. I have had it a long time, not sure if it's still available. I colored the image in with Copics. The paper is the speckled white by SU.
Hope you enjoyed my inspiration from Kansas!
