Final Guest Design Project for There's Magic in the Air

I have had so much fun creating for Nina at There's Magic in the Air this month. I find it wonderful that she offers her beautiful work free for us to create with every week! This cute image is called snowy flight and we were challenged to create anything but a card. I have a few of these nifty buckets from the Target bargain section. I used some Polar White Flower Soft for my snow and a few yummy candies in a pretty bag for a nice little gift! Please be sure you stop by There's Magic in the Air to join us this week and see everyone elses creations for this challenge.
p.s. She's also having a recipe blog hop beginning Dec 9th you wont' want to miss!

My first card in a real magazine you can buy!

I told you all a while ago I was published...well I finally located the photo of the card and just had to share it with you ! The issue is available right now and my card is a tiny little photo on the bottom left of pg. 43.

Thanksgiving Wishes

These are my Happy Thanksgiving wish to you all. I used the new digital image from Stamps and Smiles to make each of these. I hope you and your family have safe travels and spend this special holiday with those you love.

The Fresh Batch Sketch #42 (SASSC42)

This was a fun sketch! I nabbed these tiny notepads from my local scrapbook store. They had them cut at Office Depot I think. I used some Cuppy stamps from Stamps and Smiles for my ornament covers. The pretty snowflakes on the background paper are from Stamps and Smiles too, stamped with Versamark Dazzle. Please stop by Stamps and Smiles, The Fresh Batch to see everyone's inspiration samples for this sketch. We'd love for you to play along with us this week!

Mo's Digital Challenge #8 Create A Scene

This was a delight to create! I learned how to mask my images on Photoshop Elements so I can overlap them. I collect Nativity sets so these images immediately drew me to them. I made a stair step card for this so I could have different layers and heights. The little lambs are covered with white flocking so they look soft and fluffy. You can get your own Nativity images from Mo here. Please stop by Mo's Digital challenge blog and join us this week! You will also want to check out the DT's inspiration on this one!

Whimsy Christmas Card Contest

I wanted to let you all know about a fun Christmas Card contest Whimsy Stamps is having. You will need a Whimsy image to create your holiday card. You have until Dec. 12th at 11:59 ET to get your card entered. There are prizes to be had of course! If you need more details click the cute Santa on the top right of my blog to go to the Whimsy Stamps site!
Now I'll tell you about my little card! I figured since I was telling you about a Christmas Card contest I should throw in a pretty Christmas card myself (not in the contest hehe). This precious pair of kittens is one of the new images from Whimsy Stamps by Chrissy Armstrong. I am not really a cat person, but think they're oh so cute! The designer paper I used is Basic Grey. I used some cool pins and colored them to match with my Copics. Thanks for letting me share it with you!

Project Tuesday -Sticky note holder

This week we created a cute sticky note holder. The tutorial for it can be found here. I used a Magnolia image for my cover. His cuffs are fuzzy from using Tulip fabric paint. Please be sure you stop by Stamps and Smiles Project Tuesday to see everyone's inspiration samples on this! We'd love for you to play along with us!

Guest Design Project for There's Magic in the Air

Oh this moose is so cute! I had so much fun creating this. I loved the image so I made it larger than usual. I wanted to make the details really stand out! I used glaze pens and crystal effects on the Christmas lights. The glow behind some of them is from a soft yellow chalk. I used Tulip paint on Santa's hat. The moose has fuzzy antlers thanks to some dark brown flocking.
If you stop byNina's Blog, There's Magic in the Air you can get this wonderful image for FREE and play along with us this on magical Monday! Nina is so generous to give her images away to us to play with each week.

House Mouse Challenge First Project!

I want to thank all of your for your support as I worked to join the House Mouse Challenge Design Team! It meant so much to me! Now I'm excited to share my first contribution to the challenge with you!
This week the challenge is to make a double pocket card (tutorial is here). I used the "Hot Cocoa" stamp. It's colored with Copics and a little bling is added with the pearls on the cup! The paper is actually a Halloween designer paper from Stampin Up, but just a solid green. I used brown grosgrain ribbon (Michael's) for the handles and bows. These would be really cute to give those holiday gift cards in!
Please stop by the House Mouse Challenge blog to see all the DT's creations and play along with us!

Sweet Couple

I wish I could remember who inspired me to make this. I saw this cute image colored much the same way on someone's blog but can't remember who on earth it was! If you know please toss me an email so I can give them proper credit. I loved how the beige color worked on the image and I found this beautiful snowflake print paper to go with it so well. I added a few snowflakes from my stash (yes I have a snowflake stash...I love the silly things hehe). This sketch is from Stamp Something this week. I hope I am in time for their deadline (I just missed Just Magnolia's UGH). It's been crazy this week hehe. Thanks for looking!

The Sweet Life

This card is for the chocolate lovers everywhere! I love how Tilda sits perched upon a Ghiradelli chocolate! I couldn't resist putting her up there. This card is my take on the Just Magnolia Challenge Sketch this week. I really had fun with it~ hope it makes you crave the sweet stuff!

The Fresh Batch Sketch #41 (SASSC41)

Sorry my text portion of this post was missing for a while....I had serious Blogger issues again today and when I deleted the post with errors I forgot to add the text back in.

I really didn't know where to go when I started to work on this sketch. I am very happy with where I ended up though. I used kraft card stock for my little house. The night background is just navy card stock with a spritz of Shimmer Mist for sparkle. The little wreath is wire covered with jute. I used Cuppy stamps from Stamps and Smiles and added crystal effects to the cupcakes to make their frosting shiny. Please stop by Stamps and Smiles, The Fresh Batch to see everyone's inspiration samples for this sketch. We'd love for you to play along with us this week!

Mo's Digital Challenge #7 Follow a Recipe

I bet many of you have witnessed this scene at your house! I know I have. I love how Mo captures those special moments in her images! This little guy's innocent look just makes me smile. This week's Mo's Digital Challenge is to follow a recipe...3 papers, 2 ribbons, and 1 punchy border or lace edge. I love recipe cards! Be sure to stop by Mo's Challenge blog to see everyone's inspiration for this and to play along! You can see all of Mo's wonderful images here.

Angel's Landing November New Release Blog Hop

Thanks for joining us on the November Angel's Landing Blog hop! If you are just starting please head over to Judi's Blog for the first stop. Trust me, you won't want to miss even one stop on this hop! We are introducting two new digi stamp sets Polar Bear Cubs and Button Bugs .

I chose to work with the both sets. I just couldn't resist! I am taken by the wonderful versatility of the Button Bugs set! There are so many things you can do with a set like this! I enjoy that from a set. The color on my images is from Copic Markers. The paper and ribbon are from a kit I purchased at Hobby Lobby. I love the bright colors. I like how even with simple images you can create a card that makes a statement.
The candle is just a Glade one from the grocery store. I like clean fresh scents and these candles have them! I made my rub on from the Polar Bear set using Grafix Rub-onz from Hobby Lobby. Judi told me about this stuff and I had to try it. I experimented and found that you can add color too! The cheeks are even chalks! The package comes with excellent directions (don't throw them away! you will need them later). I used white pom poms for the little bear's hat. I did not put color on the bear itself since the glass was frosty I thought it worked better this way. Hope you enjoy my projects!

Your next stop on the Blog Hop is
~~~Lynn's Blog~~~
If you lose your way along the hop you can see the entire list of participants on Judi's Blog.
Have a great time hopping and be on the lookout for some of that wonderful Angel's Landing Blog Candy!
Get Well Bear
I think the Popcorn Bear stamps are so cute! The challenges I made this for are Copic Creations to use gold, Copic Buzz this sketch (but think I'm too late), and Simon Says to make a card that is thinking of you etc. I love using lace on cards...it makes a neat edge I think~ hope you have a great day!
Snowflake Angel Tilda
I love working with the beautiful snowflake embellishments that are out there this year! The colors and sparkle are just up my alley! This little Tilda is for a few challenges. The sketch is from Midnight Madness (MMSC27). The sparkles are for Cute Card Thursday #86. Thanks for letting me share it with you!
Project Tuesday-Peek-a-boo Box
This little treat box is just precious! They are easy to whip up in a flash. Here's a link to the tutorial. I used a little Whipper Snapper mouse on my cover. The pretty paper is Stampin Up Designer Paper. I used a small grosgrain ribbon around the entire box. Be sure to head to Stamps and Smiles Project Tuesday to see the vast array of ideas on this project and to join us!
My apologies
I am sorry about the terrible graphics issues my blog has had today...well maybe a day or two. I updated to the most current blogger editor and my blog grapic html did not appreciate it one bit! I have re posted all projects since last thursday to correct this. I am afraid I lost all my comments. I had also posted several projects to challenges. I hope they aren't all messed up too! Anyway...just wanted to thank you all for your patience!
Victoria Case Designs Stamp Challenge Guest Designer
This fun card is my take on this week's Victoria Case Designs Challenge. I won the guest design spot with my turkey card last week! I made a sexy sorta Christmas card :) I love Victoria's saucy girl designs! I felt terrible as this week got away from me and I didn't get my card to Victoria on time, but I had to share it with you guys anyway!
