Baby Boy Gift set

A friend of mine has a new baby boy and this is what I fixed up for her this week! I used the adorable Whimsy Giraffe for the gift card holder and little box. The onesies are colored with Copics and stamped with Memento ink then heat set with an iron. The onesie images are by Recollections. One tip...be sure you wash the fabric first before coloring on it. The copics do bleed a bit on fabric so start on the inside of your section and slowly work out, giving it time to bleed.

Supplies used for the gift card holder:
Stamp-Whimsy Giraffe
Paper- Stampin Up barely banana, bashful blue and pumpkin pie cardstock, unknown designer paper
Copics- b21, b41, b32, b34, yr04, yr00, bg01
Misc-orange grosgrain Stampin Up ribbon, dew drops, Martha Stewart border punch, swirly blue paper clip, leather orange flower, blue button, fiber, oval Nestie, box template is free here by Lauren Meader

Exciting Announcement!

I am thrilled to share that Paula at Polly Craft has asked me to design for her! I am so honored and anxious to share some of her wonderful images with you all!

Project Tuesday-Altered Frame

I really enjoyed this project. It was fun creating the frame as well as the art for it! I used my Copic refills to do the entire project. To do the frame I squirted some of the refill color onto a piece of felt and rubbed it over the frame. Who knew that it would make such a pretty stain? Please check out all the wonderful samples on the Project Tuesday Blog and join us!

Supplies used on this project:
Stamps-Poppy from Flourishes
Misc.-black Staz-on and Memento ink (Staz-on for the tile, Memento for the wood), Copic refill bottles in E35 and E37, wood frame and white ceramic tile (Michael's $1.00 each!), strong adhesive for tile to wood

Challenge #66 is to create an Easter Card using a House Mouse & Friends image! I didn't have any real Easter images but enjoy making stamps work for other occasions! My Son's 1st Challenge!

My son (Jordan 16) made this Fox entirely out of paper. It's a Nintendo character. There are lots of this intricate folding paper art patterns out there. Some are amazingly huge...others nice and tiny. This fox is about 5 inches tall. I asked him for a few links to his favorite sites for patterns. He's entering a challenge at Simon Says for kids only.
