Tilda takes a dip!

This card is for my Magnolialicious Mingle partner Pat! I hope she enjoys it! It will be off to her Monday. We had to use water and/or flowers for this month. I made the sunset with 4 Stampin Up colors, a circle punched from a sticky note, and one sponge! I started with the circle sort of in the middle of the white card stock so I could put my scene anywhere along the horizon line. I sponged from the sun outward to give the rays direction. My colors were 1. more mustard 2. pumpkin pie 3. really rust and 4. ruby red. I used the same sponge as I layered the color. I used the "By the sea" background and Tilda by the sea stamps. I used copics to color them all. The dress is a second layer with dimensional adhesive. I cut the background at the horizon line and placed it where I thought the sun looked best. It was a lot of fun, I hope Pat enjoys it too!

Fairy in Blue

This little lady is another digital stamp. I found her at Digistamp Boutique. They have precious designs! I colored the fairy with Copics. The paper is all Stampin Up Designer paper. I added some sparkly crystals from my stash. I used the Martha Stewart scallop border punch for the bottom border. The flowers are from the Nursery Tales collection by Prima. The sparkle on the fairy wings is from Twinkling H20's in stargazer. The card sketch is this week's sketch at Mojo's. I love their sketches!!! Happy Saturday!

Under the digisea

This little project is all digistamps from Fred She Said Designs. They have really cute stuff and some of the most unique flowers I've seen! I did this entire project with my Copics, but added some sparkle with my twinkling H20's. Somehow I can't seem to make a mermaid or dragon without adding those hehe. Hope you think she's as cute as I do!

Tilda on a bee hive

This little Tilda was a birthday card for a friend this week. Tilda is from the Butterfly collection at Magnolialicious. The hive, flowers, and sentiments are from Stampin Up. I colored the images with my Copics. The honeycomb background is from bubblewrap that I rubbed my More Mustard (SU) stamp pad on then pressed the paper onto it. I used a corner punch by EK Success for the top left corner spot. I added a few golden Dew Drops to give it some shine. The little bee Tilda is holding has black wire antennae, since it's almost impossible to cut them out of paper! I hope you like it!

Love Birds Magnet/Card

This card is a cute little set of love birds that are a digital stamp I purchased from the Digistamp Boutique. They have really cute digistamps and I have had a blast with their stuff! The little birds are not attached to the card, but just hung on the brad. The back of the image has a magnet. Something different! Hope you have a great day!

Sweet little Clown

I had so much fun coming up with this one! I used chalks and versamark to make the background. The clown is a digital image from KLM Designs. The have beautiful digistamps!!! This clown is even a free download! The sentiment letters are rub ons from K and Company. I really like how they don't rip when you use them! The clown is colored with Copics and I added some gold sticky gems so he could have some brass buttons. Hope you enjoy!

Birthday in pink!

This cutie patootie is a submission for a challenge at Stamp Something. I love pink so I had a blast coming up with this design! The image was received in a swap, I have no idea what line it is. My bank acct. is probably better off they're just too cute! I colored her with my copics and added pearls, flowers, and some pretty pattern paper. Hope you enjoy it!

What I made on Mother's day

A few fun cards to share with you all from my Mother's day weekend! This first one is inspired by a cool poster I saw. Unfortunately I lost the name of the artist that created it! I found it on Art Posters.com so if you're curious search "martini" there. This card was really fun to create. I used the 1 olive martini stamp from Dog Gone Stamps (link to it is here). They have a lot of new stuff there and a sale too so stop by! I printed out the "mar-tini" text on my computer with publisher to get it just the right size and position. I printed it out on my good card stock then colored in the spaces with my copic markers. To add a sheen to the text I colored in the black lettering with a black Jelly glaze pen. I just love the shine! Each martini glass has crystal effects on it as well, but that did not photograph well no matter what tricks I tried!



This next card was my idea for my RAK group birthday card this month. I don't usually send square cards for those as the extra postage is expensive! This month there's just a couple so it worked out great! I love to play with the craft color paper...it's so fun and easy to work with since it goes with everything! This even had a subtle print already on it. I can't remember who made it but it's from Michael's! The adorable little bear stuffing her mouth is from I Brake for Stamps and found here. There is a whole line of the cute lil' bears. They are fun to use since there's not much they need done to them with all that fur! To get the cake all fixed up I used a really creamy brown colored pencil for the chocolate, then topped it with crystal effects. The pink frosting is a simple squirt paint *($1.00 Michael's) that I just squirt on where I want it and let it dry overnight. I added a few sprinkles of some glitter I had that isnt' really metallic and voila!!! The border punch is by Martha Stewart-one of my very favorite things!
