Guest Design Project for Digital Delights

I was thrilled to be asked by the design team over at Digital Delights to be a guest designer! I had so much fun coming up with this card. It's for my special little Aunt who isn't feeling so hot these days. She and I have this thing...she is not fond of the black/white cow thing...so being the ornery girl I am, I send her cow everything! She gets a chuckle out of it! She's in her late 80's now and I'm always glad I can make her smile.

Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge #10

I flipped this week's sketch and made the inside part of the sketch by using vellum! It's fun to try new things! These two stamps are very unique and I am so sorry but the name of their manufacturer is blurred out on the stamp so I have no idea who makes them. I found them at a really neat stamp store in Florida! There were several versions of it with different flowers.

It's 5:00 somewhere!

Hehe I am one who enjoys a good margarita! I had fun with this little shaped card! I colored it with Copics and added some white colored pencil in the center for highlight. The entire glass is covered with a very light coat of Crystal Effects. The salted rim is really just Martha Stewart white snow glitter that's flaky! It made the perfect salt hehe. I even had to add one of the little drink glass rings at the bottom...wouldn't want someone taking my 'rita! LOL

Spot of Tea

I love this little lady! She's all set for her tea party! I did go with few embellishments since my image is so detailed. I used flower soft (fuchsia) for her feather boa. This sketch is our challenge sketch this week at Our Creative Corner. I love circle cards! The challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil this week is to use pastel colors with Mo's image. I really like how this one feels a little old...like a photo you'd find in your grandma's attic. Please stop by the blogs and see the incredible variety of inspiration samples the teams have on these challenges! I can't wait to see your own as well!
