Two cards for today!
I was a busy girl last night! I made this Princess card for a swap. She is colored with Copics. I just love the sparkly paper! The stamp is by Whiff of Joy and you can see it here.
The iris card I'm really pleased with. Those are the most delicate flowers and it was not easy to figure out how to color it. I used my watercolor pencils on this one. The stamp is by I Brake for Stamps and you can find it here. I did do a different background, I colored the entire thing with a light blue Copic marker. I like the effect. Hope you all have a great day!

Easter Bunny Tilda
I was in an Easter card kinda mood today. I don't have this actual stamp, just images from swaps. I think she's a cutie...but then again I think all the Tilda's are cute hehe. I used my watercolor pencils on this one since the image was stamped in an ink not compatible with my Copics. I'm still practicing with them! Hope you like the card!

Lil' Fairy
This image is from Whiff of Joy. I decided this weekend I needed to branch out and actually work with my Copic markers. I had a lot of fun and think she turned out really cute. I used some twinkling H2o's to add some sparkle. The sentiment is by Stampin Up. Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Seahorse friends
I just love this stamp! To get the double of it I stamped on vellum with black staz on and then turned it over to do the facing image. I colored them with prismacolor pencils, blended with odorless mineral spirits. I added the sparkle (just HAD to have sparkle!) with stickles. The stamp is from Dog Gone Stamps and you can see it here. The sentiment is by StampinBella. Hope you like it...I think it's fun!

Ashley turns 13!
Yes this card is busy! But if you know Ashley you know it's perfect for her. She loves dogs and pink is her favorite (and I mean MOST FAV) color. So her card just had to have lots of pink and include a dog somehow! Tilda with her puppy fit the bill. There are pink sparkly letter stickers that spell out her name, but they don't show up well in my photo. So I'm sorry if it hurts your eyes, but it was the perfect design for Ashley! Had to share hehe.
Not my "typical" work...
I had such fun creating this. I used Versamark and the heart grunge stamp from I Brake for Stamps to create the background. I really like the effect! I stamped the floral image with Versamark on a separate sheet and completely covered it with brown chalks. I added a little brown dew drop and some stickles for a bit of sparkle. The image is mounted on a strip of brown mulberry paper. I found some cool metal corner brads to finish it off. Not my typical card, but very fun to make!

Tulips for Spring
Hey Everyone!
I'm sorry I haven't shared in a bit. My camera cord pulled a disappearing act! I am all fixed up now and back in business! I was really in the mood for something "springy" this week. These tulips are from I Brake for Stamps. You can find it here. I painted it with watercolor pencils. I used a sheet of vellum to soften the background paper a bit. The ribbon is from Michael's and a steal at $3 for 10 yds I think! Happy Spring!

Thinking Spring
This beautiful calla lily is by I Brake For Stamps and can be found here. I used watercolor pencils to paint the image. It is cut out and mounted on a soft ivory background. I trimmed around the top center one and put a bit of dimensional behind it so it stands out a bit from the card. I like to give certain images more dimension. I added the little sticky pearls to jazz it up a bit. Hope you enjoy.

3 new Dog Gone cards
The stamps I used on these cards are all from Dog Gone Stamps. I love the expression on the caterpillar's face. I thought it was fun to make it a "girly" sort of caterpillar! I had fun coloring the seahorse. I love the dark teal colors! The little bear is just plain sweet! The eyelashes are too cute! Hope you like these and have a great weekend!

Birthday cakes and cupcakes oh my!
These just look yummy! Both stamps are by Magnolia and I had the best time coloring them! I did add the candles to the cake, they are by Hero Arts as is the sentiment. These cards are for some swaps I have coming up. I just love these colors! Hope they brighten your day too!

Congratulations Card
This is the coolest stamp! I used it twice facing the two ends together to create the space I put the sentiment. I added baubles and a little paper piecing to give it more dimension. I've always loved the color combination of a dusky green with purple. Thanks for looking! The stamp can be found here by I Brake for Stamps.
Lil Green Snail
I was thinking green for St. Patrick's day and this cute lil snail caught my attention. I used watercolor pencils and twinkling h2o's to paint him I grabbed the bright green and teal paper from my stash. I added a few dew drops and some crystal effects to jazz it up a little bit! This stamp is by Dog Gone Stamps and can be found here. Hope he makes you smile!

Welcome Maryn...my new Great Niece!
This little card is on it's way to my dear Nephew Brad and his wife Lisa. They welcomed Maryn into their family today. They are a very special couple who will make wonderful parents! I'm so happy for them and can't wait to meet Miss Maryn.
Cupcakes
This is a birthday card I made for a friend in one of my yahoo groups. I love using cupcakes on birthday cards and these are just yummy looking to me! Simple card for a laid back weekend! Hope you like it!
