Tulip Tilda

This sweet lil girl was the card all the April Rain players in the Magnolialicious yahoo group received!  I used my copic's to color the image then cut it out and put it on the white panel.  It was fun putting them all together.  I love how they turned out.  I got the sketch from Mojo Monday blog.  It's a really cool place to get sketches! Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday!

Dog Gone Stamps Blog Walk (the right date this time!)

I had the date wrong when I first tried to join this blog walk hehe.  This time I have it right and really like my card!  This was so much fun to make!  I stamped her dress on red velvet paper then cut and pasted it on top of the image.  The rest of the image is colored with Copics.  I did add some sparkle to her shoes with a sakura Gelly roll pen and the stool with some twinkling h2o's.  The side panel is cut from some red glitter paper (from Target go figure).  The black flower trim is from Michael's, by Prima, nursery tales collection.  I did add the red sticky gems to the center of each flower.  The stamp is by Dog Gone Stamps and can be found here.  I hope you have fun blog walking!

Pretty Lady

I am just amazed at the detail of this gorgeous stamp!  It is from I Brake for Stamps and you can see the entire sheet it's from here.  I like the look of the black and white, so I only added a little red for her lips.  The paper is by DCWV, All dressed up glitter stack.  The oval punch and oval scallop punch are both from Stampin Up.  Hope you like it!

TDSSC01 Red Dogwood Digistamp Card

This card is my first experience using a digistamp.  It's a free download/sketch challenge here.  It was fun to try something new and be able to make it whatever size I wanted.  I used my copics to color the image.  The overlay with the oval is vellum.  I used velvet paper and ribbon for the left side.  The card actually opens just on the image side.  Hope you like my experiment!!!

For a friend

I did this card as a sketch challenge and was really pleased with how it turned out.  The paper is all Stampin Up.  I like how the red/brown/pink combo worked.  The ribbon and sentiment are Stampin  Up as well.  The image is a Magnolia from the Easter collection.  I paper pieced the bunny so it could be a general friend card, not just for Easter.  Please be sure to clik for a closer look.  Since it was a long card the photo ended up smaller.

Two new cards to share!

This beautiful angel is from Dog Gone Stamps.  I colored her with Copic markers and added twinkling h2o's for her hair and wings.  She needed that sparkle!  The background paper and ribbon are by Stampin Up.  The flowers are Prima.  Hope you like her!

My second card was Easter inspired.  This beautiful stamp is by I Brake For Stamps and can be seen here.  We have a gigantic banner of this exact stamp on display at our church.  I find it mezmerizing.  The background paper is made from watercolor paper (wet) and re-inkers.  Really easy technique, you just let the colors bleed together and see what you end up with!  I found the metal corner brads in a little town in western Kansas and can't remember who makes them...they worked like a charm for this project though.

Magnolia

This is one of my favorite flowers.  The stamp is by I Brake for Stamps and it can be found here.  I just used paper and ribbon from my stash.  I added some sticky gold gems to the corners.  I wanted to keep it simple and elegant.  I used watercolor pencils to color the image...I wanted it to be really soft.  I had fun and hope you enjoy the card!

Dog Gone Stamps Blog Hop!

I've never participated in a blog hop before so I thought I'd give it a shot!  This is the adorable elephant with balloons stamp from Dog Gone Stamps.  I cut off the balloons of course!  I stamped each image on vellum with staz on ink-one on each side so they're facing.  The sentiment is from my stash but I found it very fitting!  I colored the elephants with Prismacolor pencils blended with odorless mineral spirits.  Hope you enjoy your weekend and blog hop!
